2016 Meetings: Please review the minutes of the following meetings.

Minutes: Finger Lakes Chapter ASD Meeting October 20, 2016
Chapter President Suzanne Kocher called the business meeting to order at 6:35 pm
Suzanne welcomed the new people present and Annette Baker. She introduced the officers and thanked Jeri Welch and Randy for set-up. Gratitude went to Eric and Kay Inglin who also set-up and brought snacks, as well as Jini Cerio, program chair.
The secretary’s report was read by Janice Carr and the Treasurer’s report was read by Suzanne Kocher for John Butler.
There is opportunity now for those interested in being nominated as Candidate for the Board of Trustees of ASD. There are several requirements, some of them are: must be in person in attendance at the convention, be reasonable, open-minded, practical, good at making decisions. This is a four year term, must participate in on-line conferences, have dowsing experience, have the resources to pay for expenses,(there are discounts provided). Check ASD web-site for more information.
Suzanne announced that there would be no meeting taking place in November due to building use.
Currently the Water for Humanity Fund is frozen. There will be silent auction for another non-profit organization.
Jan Woodworth announced that there would be special Orchid Society magnets available for sale at the holiday party.
Jini announced that on Friday, Oct. 21st, from 6:30 -9:30, Christina Whited would have a class on Healing the Meridians, mending the bodies’ meridians with dowsing.
On Saturday, October 22nd, Christina Whited was leading a group to Chittenango Falls to view orbs and nature spirits. Everyone was to meet at a home in Chittenango at 4:30, leave for falls at 5:00 pm, then return later for a potluck meal.
Jini then introduced Christina Whited as the night’s speaker; reminding everyone about how great she was in August and that we are so lucky to have her back.

FINGER LAKES CHAPTER ASD – Minutes – April 21, 2016
The meeting was called to order by President Suzanne Kotcher at 6:30pm. Officers were thanked for their participation and the minutes were read.

John Butler gave the Treasurer Report. John will be speaking at the IANDS meeting on May 13th at 6:30pm.

The ASD Conference is being held June 14­-20 at Skidmore College in Saratoga. Barbara Guzik reminded us that volunteers are needed to help and can receive a discount on attendance. Several of our members will be presenting workshops at conference.

If you would like to have a dowsing mentor, speak to Suzanne.

Madis Senner will be conducting an Earth Day meditation at the Peacemaker’s Sanctuary on Onondaga Lake.

There will be no meeting in June. Our speaker in May will be Trout Rogers. Maureen Short will present a program on Elementals in July, and Christina Whited from NJ will bring us photos of her spectacular orb collection in August.

The meeting adjourned at 6:40pm.

FINGER LAKES CHAPTER ASD – Minutes – March 17, 2016
The March meeting was called to order by President Suzanne Kotcher.
She thanked the officers and others who help at each meeting, and
shared with us that a new granddaughter arrived at 4:29pm today.

The minutes were read. Barbara Guzik, the Volunteer Chair for ASD
Convention, explained that if you are willing to commit 15 hours
of volunteer service, you may attend convention for free. However,
this does not include meals and room.

There will be no chapter meeting in June because of Convention.

In April, Jeff Gregory will bring us a program on Sound Healing. In May,
we will have Trout Rogers as our speaker. Upcoming programs will be on
Elementals and Orbs.

The meeting closed at 6:40pm, and chapter member, Madis Senner,
presented an interesting program on Fields of Consciousness. In the
coming months, Madis will be publishing a book about his work and
research, as he has studied The Fields for many years.

FINGER LAKES CHAPTER ASD – Minutes – January 21, 2016
President Suzanne Kotcher opened the meeting with the introduction of officers. Secretary Leola Sutton read the November Meeting Minutes. John Butler gave the Treasurer Report.

Suzanne read a thank you from Steve Herbert for our chapter donation to Water For Humanity.

ASD convention will be held in Saratoga Springs NY from June 14-20. With your ASD membership, you can attend at a reduced rate.

If a chapter meeting has to be canceled for weather conditions, members will be notified by e-mail by 3pm on that day.

Lois Favalo asked if there would be interest in having a Reflexology program for one of our meetings. The presenter would be from The International Institute of Reflexology in St. Petersburg FL. There would also be an opportunity to take a weekend workshop. Members were very enthusiastic.

The business meeting was closed at 6:50pm.

Chapter members Jere Welch presented the evening program on Map Dowsing and John Butler gave a short talk about his preliminary research on parasites.
